Like our grandmothers, our mother is a great baker, and to no surprise, she passed down the tradition to us. We spent countless hours in the kitchen mixing ingredients, testing flavors, and trying new recipes to develop our palate.
While learning to bake, our uncle, named Richard, would encourage us with his seal of approval, a gentle nod of the head, a smile, and two words, “It’s good!”
